Painting in oils on the finest linens, Anitalouise chases the southwest light found here in Sante Fe and Northern New Mexico. She also travels extensively throughout the country painting from coast to coast and teaching nationwide workshops. Known as an on-location landscape painter, Anitalouise also works in pastels and oils. Here she paints her larger landscapes and still lifes focusing on the florals she knows and loves so well. She is represented in corporate and private collections and numerous galleries through out the country. Anitalouise is also an art teacher. Teaching since 1965, first with the Parks and Recreation Department in Kansas City, Missouri, then in public schools from 1966 until 1987. Anitalouise now operates a teaching studio gallery, offering private and nationwide workshops.
